The Barber Quarter was struck by the United States Mint from 1892 through 1916 and designed by Mint Engraver Charles Barber.
In 1895 only 2.8 million coins were minted at the New Orleans Mint.

This 1895-O coin has not been graded by a professional, appears to be in fine condition.

On the Obverse:  Date, Words and Stars are barely worn; Liberty's outline is well-defined; all of her visible ear is seen, most of her eye can be located, and the leaves on the back half of the headband can be seen.

On the Reverse: This is the side that is seems to be in better condition than the front. Although all lettering and stars show just very little wear. The eagle sillouette is very good, several letters on the ribbon are legible; olive branch and arrows are good; about 1/3 of the tail feathers are defined; some features from the center of the shield can be seen; and about 1/3 of the wing feathers are defined as well as some neck feathers
