That Printer of Udell's by Harold Bell Wright (1903)

Interesting story of life in a mid-west town in the late 1800's-early 1900's. A young man discovering himself and religion. Apparently a favorite of Ronald Reagan. Book is in okay condition, a little loose in the spine, cloth is wearing in spots, outlay is fading and wearing in spots. Title and author color impressions are spotty. Front and back hinges are broken but no pages are missing. While flipping through I discovered page that has a 1-1/2" long hole in the page, does not appear to be a 'rip out'. Illustrations through book are still clear after 100 years but some pages show spotty discoloration.

7-5/8" x 5-1/4" with 468 pages with several ad pages following manuscript.
