Pre-WWII silver cigarette case is VERY well worn. Back is hammer distressed. Front is divided into four sections with an X near the bottom. The top and bottom sections are hammered the right section is smooth (for monogram?) the left section features leaf and flower engravings. Inside is goldtone/brass, also showing some wear, features a makers mark or owner's initials "FH" and is engraved with: 30.11.35 Elfriede. It appears that the original guard has been replaced with elastic to hold the cigarettes in place. Case measures 3"x3.5" and is stored in a fabric sleeve.
